What Is Body Sculpting?
Body sculpting refers to techniques that are used to remove stubborn fat for a smoother and slimmer look.
How Does SculpSure® Work?
SculpSure uses laser energy to target and heat fat cells in certain areas. The heat reaches fat cells below the surface of the skin and increases their temperature. This causes these cells to break down and pass through the lymphatic system. These damaged cells are not able to grow back, resulting in permanent elimination.
What Happens During a SculpSure® Treatment?
Patients can expect the SculpSure laser to produce a cooling effect at first in order to ensure comfort. During the treatment, the laser is not on constantly. Instead, it goes through on and off cycles while increasing fat cell temperatures. As the treatment continues, patients typically experience a warming sensation or tingling sensation that comes and goes. These treatments usually last for a total of 25 minutes. Patients are able to go back to their usual activities right after treatment sessions since there is no down time.
Is SculpSure® Effective?
Patients who undergo SculpSure treatment might notice results around 6 weeks after their first treatment session, but results are more noticeable around 12 weeks.
